I am a man over 60, who moved to NC and lives in and around the agricultural community in a small cul-de-sac of 10 homes surrounded by farms.
I am a published poet in two separate anthologies.

My neighbor and I came to the same conclusion of having some backyard chickens, he is going to tend to them as we move them back and forth between our two adjoining properties. Between the both of us we have around an acre.
Building the coop, the week before Labor Day, and Labor Day is slated to finish our new coop.
