    Just starting out

    Thank you for that information. I am now using an old duck pen for the two girls that I have I see the problem with nails. I had to crawl inside and hammer nails back in before putting the hens in. The one that I build will definitely use screws!

    I am just starting out and am already enjoying my two girls. I have 8 more girls arriving in June. So far I have a brooding pen we just built, but am wondering what size coop and run I will need for 10 hens. Thanks Pamala C.
