    1st timer eggs are hatching

    Thanks Im going to leave the light on. My son decided to go to bed we did watch the very 1st one hatch this morning but he will not miss school and mess up his perfect attendance. Im just at excited. Yes Im from MS I read this forum alot just never post.

    eggs have started hatching. I have 3 chicks so far. 5 more are cracking 2 have good cracks I can see them. My question is do I need to leave a light on or is it ok to be dark room. My 10 year old son thinks the light should stay on and he should stay up alll night with them... He is so excited...

    Looking for White leghorns in South MS

    I am looking for young laying or soon to be laying white leghorns my son who is 8 has a new chicken coup and just getting started. we have 17 RIR that are 4 weeks old. but he cant wait that long to get eggs.
