We had a great hatch too. Don't know the final count, cuz hubby is handling it all....due to me being out of commission, because of a cranky, creaky, extremely swollen knee. DH is really getting into the whole quail thing, I predict by this time next year we will be up to our eyeballs in quail.

That big boy will make for some fine leftovers, plus the soup you could make out of the carcass. I usually make a soup with the bones, and make a stock.....then add some of the left over meat, and the kitchen sink...just depends on what I have on hand and top it off with a big can of Spicy V-8...
