    Barred Rock early, like 16ish weeks, but several Brahma and light Sussex crosses and rhode island red were more 22-24 weeks

    Humidity levels help for a newbie

    I generally like my humidity around 30-45% on days 1-18 for baby chicks. I also like to have the humidity around 65% on day 18 until they start hatching and then naturally the humidity will rise as more chicks begin to hatch. I have had good success with hatching quail with higher humidity...
