    You will refill a tuna can a hundred times a day.............I agree with earlier post. Get the chicken waterer...the water will stay clean and replenish longer than a tuna can..............Enjoy your chics......!!!

    dirt floor here......in the run and roosting area. I use the wood pellets under a bunch of sawdust to control moisture. I also buried hardware cloth a foot deep and a foot bent into the coop and concreted. the chickens WILL dig inside the coop. And predators dig to get in..........I have...

    I used metal as walls as well.........We had a tornado rip off part of our barn and we salvaged the metal for the new coop..........The chickens are ok with it.......Seems to be working fine so far........Good Luck
