    Thank you. This is just the basic info I was looking for. I've had my flock of four for two weeks now. Got them as hatchlings. They're just two weeks old but I'm already getting excited about receiving our first eggs.

    New from NW Florida

    Just getting a start on this. I've been enjoying this site for some time while gaining knowledge and the courage to finally get started. Building my coop now using scrap wood, repurposed dog kennel and some new ply wood siding. Hope to get about 4-5 hens by the end of Feb.
