My 18 week old Pekin duck has just started nesting and laying an egg every morning. The egg is always rubbery looking, broken and full of ants by the time I find it. Is something she is/or is not getting causing this? How long do they sit on their eggs daily? It's very hot and she likes to hang... -

I used large pine shavings with papertowels(shop towels usually) over the top. then I just changed out the papertowels every couple hours. I also used puppypads but they were about the same as papertowels. I wouldn,t use lysol just because they seem to put their mouths on everything and the... -
