    Soft egg??

    I notice that when Peanut lays 3 eggs in one day, one will be soft. The morning one is always big and firm and if two others are laid in same day, they are smaller and sometimes a soft.

    Hi, I dont really know the answer to your question as I have one female ( 41/2 months) laying too and one male. I am just leaving mine together..? Are we supposed to separate them? My female built a beautiful lil nest too..so cute. She lays on the eggs at night.

    I have zero issues with what anyone else does with their eggs, but please just understand this is "new" to us and maybe in future we will get past it being a pets egg, nor would I care if someone who would eat her egg wanted too..but for now me and the kids just do not feel comfortable with it...

    I am not worried about it "scarring" them, but it would be their choice and not mine. My parents were here for a visit and said they could not eat Peanuts egg and my dad is a hunter..lol
