    How do you handle dust?

    I'm one of those weird people that uses a vacuum lol.Have an old corded one with soft brush and coop close to house.

    Broody hen hatched a chick. Need advice.

    I had a broody I put 3 eggs under twice.Both times she hatched a single chick.{both female yay!} By 5 weeks babies were perching on roost along side mum completely unbothered.

    Hemp bedding Question

    I use hemp here in NZ and love it so soft and not dusty. I have a poop tray which has oil cloth on it. this gets shaken into compost daily and cloth hosed off. Zero smell.If there are poops in the hemp they are dry and easily scooped.

    Aww so sweet.She looks a little like my Petal who died aged 9.RIRxAraucana.Still laid 3 eggs a week aged 8.
