Im only 17 and ive decided to care for ex-battery hens and other neglected farm animals. So far i have 7 drakes 2 being neglected fat pekins and the others being pets people got bored of, 4 roosters from school hatchings and 26 ex-battery hens which are hens who used to live in huge egg laying barns, the terrible over crowded neglective ones. I care for these lovely babies all on my own but my amazing mum does currently pay for everything, she's been the one making it all possible and one day we both plan to move to the country side hoping we no longer will have backgarden chickens but rather a farm! A rescue farm not a livestock farm, me and my mum are both vegans and animal lovers.💕

Why do you want to join our community?
I have anxiety and get scared there's something wrong with my ducks 24/7.. It would be nice to have some people willing to help me out every now and then as I'm new to owning ducks...
