    Dog attack

We have a hen that was attacked by a dog years ago. We had great luck using Rooster Booster Wound Spray. https://www.roosterboosterproducts.com/our-products Along with diligent flushing/cleansing of the wound, this stuff worked wonders as we nursed her back to health.

5 year old Golden Comet - Penguin stance, now can't stand

Update: Our girl is still in sick bay, but is now standing and walking normally. I am concerned about her poops though. Looks a bit like green tomatillo sauce. She's eating normally. She's not had any plants, etc. Just her pellets lately. Possible coccidiosis?

Thanks. We've isolated her to our sick bay and will work to try the Aqua Mox and NutriDrench + the suggested food support.

What just came out of my chicken?

Went out to get the eggs this afternoon and this horror was waiting in one of the nesting boxes for me. What the heck is this? Mods, feel free to move this if I've 'laid' this in the wrong forum.

    Confused about type of feed.

What about black soldier fly larvae? I've heard they've tons of calcium and my hens love them.

    Confused about type of feed.

Our oldest are Golden Comets. One still lays fairy eggs once in a while. She was mauled by a dog when she was young and her laying has been off ever since. Our oldest with gout has not layed in a year or two. The third comet still lays one or two eggs per week.
