My 3 yr old EE Penny has been excreting very small and mostly solid yellowish poop for a week or two now. The droppings under her roosting spot also have a green tint to them along with the yellow solids. As of today, she’s lethargic with a droopy tail and has built up quite a bit of vent...
Thanks! I was able to get it out today by exposing the shaft slowly. The feather had grown in a spiral and since it was was completely under her skin, I had to expose the skin surrounding the whole thing which left a pretty big wound. I disinfected the area but should I be concerned about an...

My hen Aila is acting odd, skittish, puffed up, and is making an odd chirping noise (almost the same noise my Buff Orpington makes when she’s broody and upset I blocked off the nesting boxes) Aila also had some light yellow/white runny poop. It was almost slimy and the other hens tried to eat...
After around a week of being completely fine, my hen started panting again. Is this where the crop bib comes in? I gave her some more coconut oil but it wasn’t as effective this time around. Also, I checked her crop before she went to sleep and in the morning, it was almost completely empty...
