What leads me to believe that she is Brody is the following, she spends a lot of time in her nesting box. When I lift up the nesting box lid she puts her head down and puffs up. Also she is making little cluck noises. Her eyes look clear and normal there is no discharge from her nose or anywhere...
My two girls have been laying an egg a day each since they started laying about a month ago. Now, from what I have read, it seems, one of my girls has become broody...how is that possible? I have no Rooster and eggs are removed within about 30 minutes( or less) of being laid.... I am very new...

Newbie question I have a 12 wk old Cochin Hen that kicks shaving into he water and the rushes over and gobbles them up. I'm worried this will harm her. What should I do?
