    Thanks! Should I maybe bring her into the basement for the winter? My hubby is prepared to make her a pen down there. So far she seems fine in her coop but I'm thinking it'd be best to bring her in for the winter????

    concrete on floor of run?

    Hi all. Just finished my coop yesterday & can have it part on dirt/part on the concrete. Is this ok? Should I put down pine shavings on the concrete? I've read maybe paint the concrete? I'm confused. Help!! I'd post a pic but don't know how to do that. Sorry:)

    Thanks! Did you mean put in a red bulb @ night & a white one in the day? Also, if one of the "girls" is a rooster, will he get mean? He/she is so affectionate now I would hate for him to get icky!!! We play with them every day & they are very friendly.
