I got a broody hen from my friend she was crazy broody she wouldnt even eat or drink. I moved her at night so that is would be better for her and now she will not sit on the eggs or even lay an egg. Did I break her broody by accident? Will so go back to being broody?
I need help. What categories are there? Is it just your breed and that is the category or is it age? I am new to thing and All I have done is backyard shows and want to do somthing for more showing.
Hello I would like to do showing for chickens. I have 2 easter eggers which would only be a BV and my buffs I dont think could do anything but Backyard and if they even place I will be surprised. What is your favorite breed to show. I was thinking to start with silkies but what do you think?

I just received two hens from a friend it has been two weeks and they have only layed a couple of time. These chickens have layed everyday at least once in till they came to my house. I think it is getting used to living here but, I dont know. Could the weather be it too! please I need help.
I got 2 sultan and one blue andalusian and she is so much bigger and braver than the others!! Is that just the breed or should I be worried!!the was at easter this year she is so much bigger
I did 4sf in the coop area!! I also made a nesting box for every two chickens( I want a nesting box for each but I got 3 chick then someone brought me two more) and in the run I say 5sf per bird if you are going to let them run around every once in a while if not I think 7sf should do!!
