I have 9 chickens, five Plymouth Rocks, three Sapphire Gems, and one Sapphire Olive Egger. My family and I live on a small farm in VA. I have one dog named Marley, who loves to be around the other chickens. My favorite pastime is sitting on the porch listening to my chickens and holding them when they'll let me. I joined BYC because I wanted to learn more about how to take care of my chickens and I wanted to meet other people who share a passion for raising chickens.
