    is the temp change from inside (72) to outside (5-25F) so thing to worry about? its silly but my pet experience is with fish who are very temp change sensitive

    Yes i hear you about not checking the vent. that is helpful and i wont do that anymore! the first time i was actively getting a big egg membrane out that she wasnt able to pass because it balled up in a crease to the top left of her vent.     good to know. i do crumbles because they were so chosey about mash feeds only wanting the oats and seeds and none of the fines. i will def cut down the treats though she is top of the pecking order so whatever i throw to them she gets the lions share and that could be a big culprit here. thanks...

    also i know i didnt make sense earlier the motrin/tylenol syringes would be used to suck up the liquid calcium pills at an appropriate dosage if i could move forward with that pill that i have on hand not for actual motrin or tylenol for the chicken. they are just nicely marked in 0.5-5ml...
