    Yes a little younger then that actually, she was hatched in may of last year. That being said it is possible she has laid and I am just not aware she has. We have a few silkies as well and I am guessing the size of her egg probably would be similar to theirs. And ironically they laid all winter...

    They have not said anything about steroids. The vet kinda just said oh it’s mareks before having tests done and said to euthanize. It’s only been since December she hasn’t been able to walk so sort of a long time but not a year. I’m guessing it’s probably not reversible.

    No swelling, they are not super cold but not super warm. She does grab my fingers sometimes with her toes. I think that’s probably the direction we are heading 😩 just trying to see if we have any other options before we do 😞 it’s always the favorite dang it.

    I have, nothing. And she’s not supporting herself by her legs at all 😞 if I set her down she goes split legged and falls to the side.

    I’m feeling I may vaccinate further chicks from here on out. This is our first batch we’ve ever had and it’s been a lot of issues this year with a few and super easy with others. Hoping it’s vitamin related. I’ll give her some time. She’s very hungry so that’s good at least.
