Camaraderie is wonderful. Learning is vital. I have gained a lot of knowledge from other owners . I love having common thinking people to enter react with. You have to be a chicken owner to understand another chicken owner LOL. It's just not the same with others who do not have them and have a interpretation of something that they're not really experienced with. Who also can have a lack of empathy when needed.
