I’ve got a chick who has gone from mild to what seems pretty severe cross beak.
She is drinking ok, but I’m not seeing her successfully eat the last couple of days. Have tried bowl feeders, watered mash (she all the chicks avoid for some reason).
Other advice?
We’ve officially got mice so looking forward to making these. Comprehensive instructions, thanks.

This will be my first time introducing new hens. I have 2 hens ~ 2 years old and want to add 2 more here before winter.
Chicks need to get to 6-8weeks to be totally outside (I’m in MN so evenings still cool even in summer), but start to do some look/don’t touch around 4weeks?

Hoping it’s that 18month molt tho her ‘sisters’ aren’t as dramatic as hers, they seem to be turning over some feathers.
No signs of pecking and she is the top of the flock, usually.
She is ~19 months old and molting (noticeably) for less than a week. Her tail feathers are all gone 🙁 And see other feathers in the coop and run. When you handle her she drops a few; she’s all around a little rough.
This is my first flock so always reaching out to BYC with each big change! 🙏

I’m curious if extreme temperatures (cold) can lead to excessive molting? Some sort of shock reaction?
This is Jellybean - 6 going on 7weeks
Jelly is a bully and has been in chicken jail after picking the head bloody of our Faverolle. Their temperament is definitely different than the other hens; they don’t back down from my cats and don’t care to be handled at all; different vocalization, but...
