    Those damn minks! I bought a roll of 1/4" hardware cloth to improve the mink-proofing of my coop this summer. They seem to be the main issue over the winter. Once your Iceys are laying good (if you have a rooster), let me know - I wouldn't mind doing an incubator run of them when I expand things...

    Hey, that's awesome. What side of town are you on? Icelandics seem like a great breed up here, nice and self-sufficient. We'd really like to start a flock of Bantam Vorwerks, right now we don't have any bantams - I'd need to build a new coop and run for that. Maybe next spring!
