    Can you sex this Red Golden Pheasant?

    When I look at its eyes at a certain angle in the light, they look very light, almost like an adult males eye color. But if it is not at that right angle, then the eye color looks in between dark brown and light brown.

    8 Eggs going in the incubator...

    So.... I have an empty incubator, and 8 guinea eggs that were in the coop. Ive decided I'm going to just hatch them and see how many hatch from the 8! I'm planning on selling whatever hatches, so if anyone is interested. I won't ship them though.

    Yes mine we're shipped to me.. I'm pretty sure that was the reason for the low hatch rate as well. My eggs that were shipped were from a farm 3ish hours away (of course I find this out after I get my eggs haha), so next time I'm thinking I'll just drive to get them.

I candled them at 7 days, and all were growing but 2 eggs that were clear (I'm assuming they were infertile to begin with.) At 14 days, I had only 3 eggs that I could tell for sure...
