    I was reading the bag of medicated feed, and it says "As an aid in prevention of Coccidiosis where immunity to Coccidiosis is not desired." Don't we want the chicks to be immune to coccidiosis? Does feeding them medicated food prevent them from developing an immunity to it?

    The bag of medicated chick starter says, "As an aid in prevention of Coccidiosis where immunity to Coccidiosis is not desired." I want both prevention and immunity, but the phrase on the bag implies that I'm choosing prevention instead of immunity.
