Dear Phoenix1, I found your entry about mom hen chasing her babies. I didn't know. Did they settle down? I have 1 brood hen and her 6 kids all different breeds. Just today (kids are 8 wks) she is deliberately chasing them down pecking and biting them. She was a wonderful mom. why? I put her in the "time-out cage" for now. What can I do????
