    Update on Genghis Khan (Rooster): I soaked his leg with epsom salt, sprayed the Vetericyn spray on the wounds, wrapped it and placed a splint on it. Gave him antibiotics. He is comfortable. I’ll keep y’all posted. Here are some pics of the process! It takes a village to heal a rooster, y’all!

    The vet hasn’t dropped off the antibiotics yet but when I was at TSC, I bought some of the penicillin they give fish so I’m hoping that may work if he doesn’t drop it off today.

    Called the vet school, and they aren’t taking any new patients. I have the wrap and Vetericyn coming via Amazon today. Will be splinting and wrapping tonight I bought the fish antibiotics (Penicillin) because my vet hasn’t dropped off the antibiotics yet. I’m hoping that works!

    So I called our vet and he doesn’t do chickens. He did give me some antibiotics so I’m going to give that a go! I do have a the Texas A&M vet school near me but I would be looking at spending hundreds if not thousands. I can’t find another vet will treat a rooster. I’m gonna keep trying to...
