    I lost 3 at the 11 day candling. Not sure if it was related. The remaining 4 chicks hatched last night! Healthy and perfect! So fun!!

    One day. The last time I remember checking humidity was afternoon yesterday..I just checked at noon and saw the 4 on the machine I had to do a double take. So weird! Or maybe not.. I’ll be more careful from now in for sure. Glad to hear you still hatched chicks!!

    Yes, it’s been steady between 48-55 for 6 days. I had a roaring fire last night so maybe that changed my room conditions. (Incubator in the same main house area) I have no idea why the crazy drop, seems odd..but now it’s right up to normal.

    Hi all! I just checked my eggs to find the humidity at 4% 😩. I know it was at 50% yesterday but not sure I checked before bed. Of course I’ve added water and all is back up to normal levels, but will this effect development? Have I lost all six eggs? I was planning to candle today but winder...

    Temperature and Humidity

    Hi Becci! I woke up to find my humidity at 4%. It was fine yesterday but I’m not sure that I checked before bed 😕 I’m on day 6. Of course I filled and it’s back up to 48% but is there anything I should/could do to help this?

    Early February 2016 Hatch - Who's In?

    [/IMG] Wow! That's a lot of hatching! I don't have a rooster, so I had eggs shipped. I'm hatching Danish Brown Leghorns. Here are two pics of my Isbar. I just love this breed, I would have more in my flock in a minute!
