Sick Chicken - Anemia? Scaly leg mites, Bullying, First timer

It’s very sad to think about how the previous owners must have been ignoring this since she was young. The other 3 chickens are coming up on 1 year and all seem much healthier. Is ivermectin what you’d recommend for parasites/preventative treatment in this case?

Sick Chicken - Anemia? Scaly leg mites, Bullying, First timer

No respiratory symptoms that I can tell. She should be turning 2 around now/early spring. I think she’s eating normally and drinking normally. Her poop seems normal (easy to know it’s hers since she is sleeps at night in the nesting box). She does seem to be resting/sitting down in the yard a...

I know this post is 5 years old... But how did it hold up? How did you like it after use? I am about to buy one locally (also in northern California) at a much lower cost than retail. Did you add any additional predator proofing? We also plan to add a run, though only starting with 2-3 chickens.

Hello all! I've been a long time lurker and have learned so much from this community! I live in the SF Bay Area so very temperate weather where it never gets too cold and not usually very hot, I'm over on the mountain in some of the coastal fog. I'd like to finally get started with chickens and...
