    Thank goodness for this group!! I was starting to feel like a deviant for loving my EE chicks! I have some 'true' Ameraucanas, but I'm not going to bother about it anymore, because I am keen on the rainbow eggs. And how many different colors of chickens!? EEs are the coolest!

    I am sort of hoping for a roo. If I get 2, I guess I will sell a pair. My first SLWs too. We have 150 chickens, and we have hatched our own eggs, but it's amazing how different the different breeds are. So, now at 3 weeks, 2 are huge, 1 medium, and 4 small. I can't wait to see how this turns...

    Hi! We have 7 SLW chicks (hatched 1/7/15) supposedly pullets. 5 are quite small, no tail feathers. Two are nearly twice as big, and have about 1/2" of tail growth... What might this be about?
