    The perch experiment

    Would the extra height that the narrow side impact the results on this first week? Would it be possible to place spacers under the flat side so that the top surface lines up? (also thinking the same for the following weeks).

    Painted mine after it went up and the change is incredible. I still have a section i haven't done (winter here and the weather isn't warm enough often enough to paint) and the difference is night and day.     I set up a removable 2x4 (flat side) for them, they choose to ignore this and roost on the 2x2 that connects it to the wall...
