    Cochin Thread!!!

    Could anyone tell us what colour these are? We know that they're a splash variety and we were told that they are lavender splash but they look more grey/blue/black to us. Thanks

    Chickens laying in the coop??

    Our chickens like a clean, dark and quiet nesting box in the coop. If any of those factors are disturbed they start to lay wild outside. Hope that helps

    Good Afternoon from Orkney

    Thanks, its certainly different to a lot of places and its pretty much ideal for poultry keeping. The island where we live used to be known for its egg production but unfortunately a particularly bad storm hit some years ago and blew most of the coops and the birds out to sea.
