    The last of my beauties died :(

    We just lost the last of our beautifiul Wellsummer roosters. His name was Crooked Toe and he was a great protective rooster that always broke up fights and protected al of the hens that were being picked on. He will be greatly missed.

    So sad

    I just lost my favorite chicky, Jazz. He imprinted on me as a chick and followed me everywhere; he grew up to be a very proud rooster and protected all of the girls in the flock. He was taken by a dog/fox today and I can only imagine that he died to protect the girls, we will miss you Jazz!
