Topic of the Week - How much space for your flock?
My run space isn't huge, as I live in a big city, but it is covered so on the foul weather days they can stay in their run unless it is super cold and they just want to huddle together under the heat lamp in the coop. Ended Wattle I Do Without You?
I also have a Lavender Orpington named Cornelia, and she will sprint across the yard and patio if she suspects treats or sees me opening the door to where the treats are kept. I will also be supervising my girls foraging in my backyard, and I'll go, "Wait, where is Cornelia" and then walk around...- pnw_urban_chix

Favorite Chicken Breed?
I have a couple different breeds who all have their strengths and weaknesses, my Black Copper Maran lays beautiful dark brown eggs that also taste really good, my Lavender Orpington consistently churns out an egg a day during laying season and is super sweet, although she has gone broody...- pnw_urban_chix
