    Found this in my girl's coop. She's been separated from the flock for the past six months due to a broken vertebrae from my rooster. She's fully recovered from the broken vertebrae but I'm wondering if this happened due to her injury?

    Thanks for the info. She has her own house and run separate from the flock but is able to see them. The vet gave me some liquid pain meds for her but didn't say how long it would take to heal.

    Hello, has anyone ever had a hen with a broken back? My girl couldn't walk when I found her in her coop and took her out. I went to my vet and she did x-rays.
