    I have the same problem. My dogs have a coop but are allowed to roam the yard they share with the dogs.     OH. IF a chicken with Fowl Pox lays an egg. Is that egg same for consumption? Or should it be left alone?

    Thanks everyone for the Welcomes. I'll see if i can find a good picture of all of them. I know my rooster is not the same as my hens. I think i have 2 different types of hens. We shall see.

    One of my hens got out of the yard and went missing for a couple days. I thought she might have fallen to predators . Then she returned.     Long time reader, recent member. I have 7 hens and 1 rooster. NO idea what kind they are. I got them at the feed store in the spring. I wanted to have my own way of getting eggs instead of buying at the store. They just started laying this week. Well. I found 2 eggs. -pokie
