    Which is more cost-effective- heat lamp, tape or heated waterer base?

    I have the heated blue 1 gallon dog water bowl and it is thermostatically regulated. If I'm in the barn at the right time I can here it clicking on and off when the heat is not needed. It does keep the water liquid and i fill it up every morning.

    I was wondering ---- "they" say dont give our chicks garlic or onions cuz it will make the eggs taste funny. Cabbage seams like it would give the eggs a funny taste too. Wouldn't you think so????

    How does your rooster crow?

    OMG these are sooooooooooooo funny. I am reading all of these just laughing until I have tears in my eyes. I have had the giggles all night. My rooster has a ear piercing regular sounding crow but he does have the weezing at the end - what is that??? THANKS FOR A GREAT NIGHT.

    Trouble peeling boiled eggs!

    here's my 2 cents..... i heard that if you let fresh laid eggs sit in the fridge for 2 or 3 weeks then the air sack gets a little smaller, the liquid inside evaporates just enough so that when you hard boil the egg they will peel like a store bought egg - easily.

    boss joked that he was going to stuff him and hang it on his wall. our receptionist said that all white weasels were good luck. since he kinked the neck i told him "so much for your luck". It did have about an inch of black on the tip of his tail so boss said it was an evil weasel.
