    coop floor - laminate?

    Is is laminate or linoleum? sheet linoleum/vinyl can be sprayed down, but laminate it extremely sensitive to moisture and will buckle and swell causing mold and other issues. If it’s laminate plank, I’d pull it out

    You’re right. A carcass is going to bring more critters around for sure. Hanging the pelt is the key. A carcass has meat on it. No self respecting scavenger is going to leave it alone

    Google no more😅 OEGB, Dutch, Leghorns, and many other breeds come in the BBRed color. This bird is none of those. It’s an American Game Hen, and fine example of one at that👍🏼

    Ameraucanas only lay blue eggs. Easter Eggers lay a variety of colored eggs.

    Hatchery vs Show Quality birds

    I got beat out at a show in 2009 by a dandy of a bird from feed store stock. No shame in it either! She was a white rock bantam that had every right to place where she did.... Reserve Champion of show😂 You’d have to hatch hundreds of eggs to get a bird like that from hatchery stock, but it happens

    Ameraucanas lay blue eggs. The recognized colors are Wheaten, Blue Wheaten, Brown Red, Silver, White, Black and Blue Any other plumage or egg color other than those recognized is not an Ameraucana, but an Easter Egger. If the goal is egg production, then Easter Eggers are the way to go...
