How long after mating for the first fertile egg?
Hi guys, I've got my bbw hen turkey visiting her boyfriend now for a little while. My Q is, how long after the mating occurs should I get a fertile egg? Is it the same as in chickens or longer due to her laying every other day??- pookiegoldman

Rouen Duck Eggs STILL not fertile?!?!?!?
I've got 19 Rouen duck eggs in the incubator right now, at day 9. I just candled them to find ZERO fertile. The last time I incubated some (October or so) there was maybe 1 egg that had signs of an early death. The Rouen ducks are 9 months old. Is it just the cold weather now??
