    Grandpa feeder wet food

Hello all, I have recently purchased a Grandpa feeder. It works as it should for the most part but my feed is getting wet/moldy. I do not have a covered run as of yet which is what led to the purchase of said feeder. I have spoken to others that have one and they say the food stays...

Chicken "Knuckling" and recent deaths. Need help!

I'm quite upset as of late due to a rash of bad circumstances. I've had 3 chickens die in the last week. Here is my situation: I had what I consider an "incident" in the run. I don't know when it happened but I came in in the morning and 2 girls were limping. Shortly thereafter the worst one...

Chicken attacked. Survivable? What to do?

I currently have her in an old dog crate. I wondering if I could put her back with the other chicks at this point? She's been separated for 2-3 days. She's definitely wounded looking but active, eating and drinking. Moving a little slow but I would be too.

Chicken attacked. Survivable? What to do?

**Update** Today she is looking a lot better. More movement and she's eating as well as drinking. I sprayed some Vetericyn on her as well. I do have her separated but in sight of the rest of the flock just until she's a little stronger. **Escape saga** So this bird has a history of being a...

Chicken attacked. Survivable? What to do?

Attacked by a dog. Held her down and pulled her feathers out. Apparently somehow she escaped the fenced in area she's kept in. So just to double check. I should apply the aforementioned ointments and wrap or just leave it be? Ironic side note: 10 years with chickens AND pitbulls the alleged...

Chicken attacked. Survivable? What to do?

I checked her up and down for any puncture wounds and it doesn't look like she has any.

Chicken attacked. Survivable? What to do?

She is drinking. I haven't tried to feed her yet. She's not moving too much. But alert. She closes her eyes occasionally though. I should have said this in the original post but in the pics she's wet from me cleaning the wounds. Looks a little bit worse as a result.

Chicken attacked. Survivable? What to do?

One of my hens was attacked. Looks mostly like just turn out feathers and some bruises. Can anyone asses based on these pics? She's breathing and alert but not really reacting to anything. Just looks pissed. https://photos.app.goo.gl/YXZhCWqLeSF8hsDb8...

Chickens not staying off porch or out of house

*update*. So I decided to try fencing them in again. So far they haven't jumped the fence but my one more mischievous girl is having temper tantrums. It literally sounds like she's screaming at me. Should I give it time and hopefully she'll cool down? The area I have them fence into is not...

Chickens not staying off porch or out of house

Fence is about 4-4 1/2 feet tall chain link. I clipped the wings by clipping the "flight" feathers as per most of the instructable on-line resources. They actually just jumped up on the top of the fence. Seemed like they didn't use their wings.

Chickens not staying off porch or out of house

It seems like every spring I seem to have this problem. My chickens free range in a HUGE yard. However, they always seem to want to hang out on my porch and a lot of times the back door is open so they get into the house and on the couch and etc etc. Not a problem itself but I am extremely tired...

Treating Anemia from Mites and/or Worms

I'm having similar issues as previously stated in this thread. My question is what is the feeding schedule like when hens are sick? Do I give apple cider vinegar/egg/electrolyte/yogurt etc once per day or small amounts several times per day? Same question applies if I have to feed through a...
