    Could really use some advice I have 6 ducks

    It sounds like you have to many males to females. I would (sad as it is) either butcher, rehome, or get him some ladies of his own. A drake (male duck) needs AT LEAST 4 hens EACH to prevent over-mating.

    quails are fighting

    you can't keep mail quail toghter, they will fight to the death. A good ratio is 3 females to ONE male, seperate them immidentially!

    coop too tall??? ramp question.....

    that's a little tall.... I'm not a construction expert but based on my run, you might wanna staple chicken wire to the underneath of the coop, cut a hole in the floor and have a little ramp underneath, in the back you could install the human door. I dunno, just a thought.

    Best bedding for ducks?

    "barn" *cracking up* I have a small urban yard, about a quarter of the size of a football field, with a large dog run containing my chickens (and soon ducks) and the porch containing my quail and finches... I wish I had a barn. Thanks for the advise!
