    Noooooooooo :hit But thank you for confirming, with at least one of the brown ones also being male that makes at least 4 boys outta 9. I assume if I were to try & house the 'spare' boys together they'd fight?

    Do quail screech?

    I'm new to quail keeping but I've definitely heard a noise that could be described as screeching, but it seems to match the sound I've heard in YouTube videos of males when I Googled it to make sure it's normal, I knew they made noises but I underestimated how loud it would be!
