    Thank you for your input! I have never had a Maran but was hoping I would have one with the colored egg layer assortment. Haven't figured out all of the rest of them yet. Could be they gave me a rooster along with that assortment. I will take him no matter what he is! I will check his toes...

    I will let you know what the camera shows! We keep reinforcing the chicken wire hoping to keep whatever it is out. We will find out if we succeed. Maybe we should face a camera towards the chicken wire to see what shows up.
