does it seem unusual for purchased fertile eggs?
does it seem like we did something wrong?
they were an assorted mix of bantams, so could it be that the two we hatched handled the environment better?
anyway, questions, questions.
thank you! we ended up candeling them at day 25 and all we saw was sloshy liquid.
so, carefully poking a hole in the large end, all we could see was yolk in 10 of the 12 (2 hatched already).
it seemed weird since we bought these from murray mcmurray.
basically, we have 2 $20 chicks...
day 23: 12 purchased fertile bantam eggs: 2 pips on day 21, one hatched 22, 10 no movement.
the other pip has movement poking through pip hole.
we've left the hatched chick in the incubator.
what do we do next?
