    We do not plan to increase! Our size is currently 17 4 week old chicks! We are thankfully not limited to any zones or regulations! We have lots of resources wood and wire! Several skill levels around d willing to help!

    Pecking injuries. Please Help!!

    My chicks are around 4 weeks old and today I noticed two have pecking injuries from the others! We are aware it is probably a coop size issue and are currently working to fix that to give them more space! We were hold as long as we could til the neighbors moved some large dogs we were afraid...

    When do you change brooder temps

    At what ages do you start to lower the temp in the brooder? We are using a heat lamp and it seems really hot! I am also using a couple thermometers to keep a check on temps on both hot and cool side of the brooder!

    Week old chick is limping

    Thanks so much! I have looked her over several times and cannot find anything although I could very well be missing something! I am trying not to handle her too much to prevent stressing her out! I think it is an injury because it did this yesterday too and this morning we didn’t notice it...
