    Too soon to move to the coop?

    My 9 chicks are 3-5 weeks old. The daytime temps here are in the high 80s, low 90s. Night temps are in the mid to high 60s. They have been living in my insulated garage in their brooder but haven't been using their heat plate. Is it safe to move them out to their coop now without the heat plate?

    Hi from new chicken owner!!

    I sat with them with their food in my hands and a few of them pecked at it, but most were not interested. So I decided to up the ante and got them some mini mealworms, some greens, and some chia seeds to try. And chick grit of course! Tomorrow hopefully they'll be more interested!!
