Fortunately in this case it ended up just being dirt or wet food on her face it had just wetted down the feathers and they dried stuck like that. I cleaned her face and later when it dried up it looked normal.

7 chicks they’re in a 2x4x2 brooder box.
Apparently I can’t go by waddles or the comb size on the azure blue as the females also have large combs and waddles.
I cleaned her face earlier to see if it was just dirty or something looks a bit better still looks straggly but she still has down...
Does anyone know what’s going on with my chick. This should be my 4 week old Azure Blue chick (I have 7 all different breeds). This morning I’ve noticed feather loss on the one side of her face does this look like regular pecking order stuff or something serious?
I haven’t seen them picking on...
