    Egg Production and Mites

    I was just curious; if you have had a mite infestation and decreased egg production along with that, how long did it take for your hens to return to their normal egg production? Thanks! :) I'm still treating them, and was just curious about that (mine was a pretty severe infestation unfortunately).

    Is Dumor a good starter feed?

    I accidentally bought the Dumor chick starter for turkeys quails, etc. a few months ago. The bags between that and the chick starter for chickens are almost identical. I went ahead and fed it to my layers and Silkie chicks, they all did fine. But the next bag I got, I bought the correct one.

    Chick Starter 24% feed?

    Hubby bought the wrong food for our baby chicks, and insists they can eat it and be fine. It's Dumor Chick Starter 24%, bag says for turkeys, etc. Is this ok? I keep worrying about this.
