    Started with 27 eggs, 6 were infertile, 1 died when we had serious incubator issues (spiked to 107* one night and bulb went out next night dropping to 60*), but when all said and done the remaining 20 hatched!!!!!

    Our Mama Muscovy, Sweetpea, here with her newly hatched babies. Took this picture a couple hours ago, 11 eggs hatched (most are hiding and staying warm under her) and 4 more working on hatching. Nothing like the cuteness of ducklings less then 12 hours old!

    Our Muscovy mama started sitting on the 8th (Wed) so I think a couple days early for the Easter hatch. But you never know exactly when the little cuties will pop out, nature will decide.

    We will be adding chicken eggs to our incubator for Easter. Can't wait!! Our Muscovy apparently got the word as well since she is sitting on 15 eggs. But I think they might hatch about 3 days early (BLAH).

    threehorses - I should have specified that I am not actually reapplying the DE frequently I am just turning the straw around so as to get the poop off the surface. I only put a little DE in after I clean the whole coop out. Mandy 1296 - Let me know if you think the Tylan works better for you...
