Yes, I have 5 dogs and neither of them have used a crate. I live out in the boonies, and often dogs get dumped out here. I usually end up rescuing them and taking them to the adjacent town's Rescue, when they have an opening. (That's how I got 5 dogs...I'm kind of a foster-failure 😁)

I'm doing well with my chickens. Everyone is getting along and producing. I've added a Chinese Swan goose to the flock, and her name is Ryan (Ryan gosling 😁) Ryan is to big for the coop now. What can I use or purchase to give Ryan her own nesting box? She has her own 10x20 enclosure to sleep.

My Lavender layer was laying blue eggs just fine and then she laid this MONSTER of an egg and had a terrible "blowout"! I did all the necessary steps to take care of her: separated her from the flock, inserted her vent, used preparation H, etc. I fed her twice with Oyseter shell in 30 days...

You could look into getting the biting hens some pintail peepers. It's blinders, like horses wear, but for chickens. If a chicken can't see, they won't peck. And they are red, which distracts the chickens eyes to focus on the blinders. They can see to the side but not straight on/forward...

Well ya'll....I've put frozen water bottles in their waters everyday and added electrolytes and BOOM, I have eggs!!! Still keeping up with the cool treats and wading pool but I truly believe the constant cold water is what helped!!

I found a 4 week old kitten at my mailbox. We live out in the country, so I'm guessing it was either dumped or a stray whore mama cat left it behind. I've since made this kitten an inside kitty and she is 7 weeks old now. She too has black boogie nose on occasions. She never goes outside...
