Today I went out to my chicken coop to collect the usually 4 eggs. I got 4 but not the regular. There was one small (and I mean small) egg. Does anybody know if this is normal? -The top egg is a normal one that I get every day -The middle is the small egg. -The cup has the contents of the small egg.

I bought the coop that way. when I went to a chicken seminar at my local agriculture store I asked if it was appropriate and was told yes. I am sorry if I was misinformed but it was not my fault
Hi all! My chickens have settled in well and on has even started laying! It's very exciting! Anyways when they first came home the chickens slept like this (pictures below) I thought it was possibly just a faze but now they always sleep that way and never on the roost. even if it is warm out...
I have recently purchased 4 20 week pullets and I am having much difficulty getting them to go into the coop at night for bed. Any tips? I am trying the "keep them in the coop for a week" strategy, but I was wondering if there was everything else
I Blow out the yolk and white of the egg and paint them like different animals and fun things then I sell them.
(Still eat them a majority of the time though)
Hello everyone! I have recently gotten chickens! (YAY) They are 20 weeks old and I want to begin training them (as my ag teacher calls them circus chickens) to do different things, what are some treats recommended for quick rewards when clicker training?

Hello! I will be getting chickens in two weeks and have been doing research for about 4 months now. I am still worried about everything!
Any tips to stop the worrying?
I was told 2sqft per bird because I will have a large run and they will only be into sleep, however I cannot legally have 12 chickens, that is just the limit of the coop.
The demensions are 4x6 and I can house 12 chickens (if needed, right now I'm starting with 4) into interior is standard pressure treated with one roost. The mobility isn't really a big selling point for me because I want to raise it up 2 or 3 feet.
